Box stock Briggs 206 and Clone Rules

General Rules: Box Stock


Clutch - Any shoe type or disc clutch. 

Fuel - 87 octane gas only, No additives, Must pass specific gravity test.

Tires - Tread tires only with right rear being 50/55 compound No tire prep, No tire wraps

Blower cover/pull rope starter must be present and remain stock

Wing optional

Safety All Box Stock Classes, must have some type of right-side head support mounted to seat at helmet level.

Or 196cc Clone Rules will follow AKRA Box Stock rules

Exception - Clone Exhaust, Open Pipe rule all classes, but must run Stock Class 1 5/16" RLV Model B91XL/ EXF4104 Silencer


Young Guns

Drivers will NOT compete for Championship Points

True beginner class for age 4 to 8

Briggs 206 with Red Slide or Clone with Red Restrictor.

Will run hot laps, 1 6 lap heat and 1 8 lap feature(subject to change)

  

Jr1 - Beginner Box 

Drivers will compete for Track Champion Points.

Drivers age 5 to 8 or track discretion

Weight 265 on track scales

Raceceiver mandatory


Engines 

Briggs & Stratton LO206 sealed engine with Green slide.

RLV pipe (#5507 or #5530) with RLV B91XL (part #4104) silencer/muffler.

Briggs & Stratton Green Air Filter Part #555729  or any 3” x 5” round style air filter or smaller , outerwear allowed.

Locking cap Part #555726 on the carburetor slide cover must be installed.

Or AKRA box stock clone engine with Green plate. 


Jr2 - Box Stock

Drivers will compete for Track Champion Points.

Drivers age 7 to 12 or track discretion

Weight 290 on track scales

Raceceiver mandatory

Engines 

Briggs & Stratton LO206 sealed engine with Yellow slide.

RLV pipe (#5507 or #5530) with RLV B91XL (part #4104) silencer/muffler.

Briggs & Stratton Green Air Filter Part #555729 or any 3” x 5” round style air filter or smaller, outerwear allowed.

Locking cap Part #555726 on the carburetor slide cover must be installed. 

Or AKRA box stock clone engine with Blue plate. 


Jr3 - Box Stock Open

Drivers will compete for Track Champion Points top three will receive awards.

Drivers age 9-15 or track discretion

Weight 320 on track scales

Raceceiver mandatory

Engine 

Briggs & Stratton LO206 sealed engine with Black(open) restrictor slide.

RLV pipe (#5507 or #5530) with RLV B91XL (part #4104) silencer/muffler.

Briggs & Stratton Green Air Filter Part #555729 or any 3” x 5” round style air filter or smaller, outerwear allowed.

Or AKRA box stock clone engine.

Option for 206:

1)  Briggs World Formula 7100 RPM PVL, Red in Color, Briggs part number is #557125(subject to change)



Protest Rule

DURING TECH INSPECTIONS, ONLY DRIVER AND 1 CREW MEMBER IN TECH AREA
Protester must pay a $65.00 fee prior to the A-Main race to protest a kart in their class. A protest will be verbally accepted from the owner or driver only if his/her kart is in a race with the kart being protested. Cash must be accompanied with the verbal protest to the Tech official.
Protests must be made before the start of feature race. Item to be inspected must be specified i.e.: engine, kart frame, weight etc.
If the kart is found to be legal $40.00 of the bond money will be forfeited to the protested party and $25.00 will be retained for Tech official.


If you fail tech after feature you will lose all awards and points for that night.

Refusing Tech, you will lose all Championship points accumulated for the year, all awards for the night, and not be allowed to race at next event


NOTE: The track retains the option to inspect for Tech violations on any entry at the entrant’s own expense.
