2024 Adult Box and Adult Modified Rules

MODIFIED BOX STOCK

1. Drivers age 15 & up
2. All steel kart frame with cage and body.  
3. Engine any horizontal side shaft four cycle engine that  started life no bigger than 212cc. Any modifications allowed.
4. Fuel any fuel allowed.
5. Exhaust non tech. Must not be a safety issue.
6. Clutch non tech
7. Tires any tire or compound
8. No wings
9. Weight: No Weight Rule

BOX STOCK KART (sealed claim engine class)

1. Drivers age 15 & up
2. All steel kart frame with cage and body.
3. Stock Harbor Freight Predator 212cc engine only (Hemi or Non-Hemi head okay).
4. Gasoline only 91 octane or less.
5. Must have chain guard.
6. Drum clutch only.

7. Stock engine governor must remain inside engine but can be by passed.

8. Top plate ,fuel pump, throttle linkage device are allowed.

9. Any header and muffler allowed must not be a safety issue.

10. Can re-jet stock carburetor, stock air filter only, no other modification allowed, this is a Tech item.

11. Valve cover can be removed to tap fitting for fuel pump.

12. Blower cover and pull rope starter must remain stock and in working order.

13. Stock flywheel must be replaced with an ARC-6696 flywheel for safety reasons.

14. Stock flywheel key and position only, may not advance engine timing, this is a Tech item.
15. Any tires no prep or wraps.
16. No wings.
17. Weight: 400.

Engine Claim Rule

1. To claim an engine you must finish the A-Main, make a written protest to Tech Official with $150 cash within 15 minutes after the completion of A-Main.

2. Not Included in claim is top plate, flywheel, fuel pump, throttle linkage device, chain guard, header/muffler and clutch

3. Refuse claim, you will be suspended for the next two race events & lose all championship points.

4. Refuse two times; you will be suspended from remaining events.
