2025 Kids Box Stock Rules
BOX CLASSES CAN RUN IN MORE THAN ONE BOX STOCK CLASS, MUST MEET CLASS RULES FOR BOTH CLASSES. ADDITIONAL ENTRY FEE IS REQUIRED.
YOUNG GUN BEGINNER CLASS CAN NOT RUN IN MORE THAN ONE CLASS!!!
GENERAL RULES
Clutch - Any shoe type or disc clutch.
Fuel - 87 octane gas only, No additives, Must pass specific gravity test.
Tires - Tread tires only with right rear being 50/55 compound No tire prep, No tire wraps
Blower cover/pull rope starter must be present and remain stock
Wings mandatory
Safety All the correct safety equipment must be worn: Arm Restraints, Neck Brace, Fire Suit, Helmet and gloves.
Equipment Raceceiver (Except for Young Guns & Jr-1) and Transponders are mandatory.
Staging Drivers must be lined up in correct lineup order
Engine AKRA box stock 6.5 OHV Honda clone rules, open header and muffler under AKRA rules on J1, J2, J3 classes. Young Gun must run weenie pipe with muffler only.
CLASS RULES
Young Guns
Beginner class for age 4 to 6 trophy class.
Weight 250lbs on track scales
Exhaust header weenie pipe with muffler only
Engine AKRA box stock 6.5 OHV Honda clone engine with restrictor Red plate.
Jr-1 - Box Box
Drivers age 5 to 8 or track discretion
Weight 265 on track scales
Open header and muffler under AKRA rules
Engine AKRA box stock 6.5 OHV Honda clone engine with restrictor Green plate.
Open header and muffler under AKRA rules
Jr-2 - Box Stock
Drivers age 9 to 11 or track discretion
Weight 285 on track scales
Open header and muffler under AKRA rules
Engine AKRA box stock 6.5 OHV Honda clone engine with restrictor Blue plate.
Jr3 - Box Stock Open
Drivers Age 11 and up
Weight 320 on track scales
Open header and muffler under AKRA rules
Engine AKRA box stock 6.5 OHV Honda clone engine with restrictor engine no restrictor plate.
Protest Rule
DURING TECH INSPECTIONS, ONLY 2 CREW MEMBER IN TECH AREA
1. Protester must pay a $100.00 fee prior to the A-Main race to protest a kart in their class.
2. A protest will be verbally accepted from the owner or driver only if his/her kart is in a race with the kart being protested.
3. Cash must be accompanied with the verbal protest to the Tech official.
4. Protests must be made before the start of feature race
5. Item to be inspected must be specified i.e.: engine, kart frame, weight etc.
6. If the kart is found to be legal $70.00 of the bond money will be forfeited to the protested party and $30.00 to tech.
7. If the kart is found illegal $70.00 goes to the protesting party , $30 to tech.
8. If you fail tech after the Feature race or refuse tech you will lose all awards and points for that night and not allowed to race for next two events.
NOTE: The track retains the option to inspect for Tech violations at any time at the entrant’s own expense.
