QUARTER MODS 


1. Minimum age 15

Car and driver must weigh 700 lbs


2. Chassis & Cage: 

Cage diameter must be 1” diameter X 0.095” wall or 1.25” diameter X 0.070” wall thickness.

Must be Mild Steel, Chromoly or DOM Tubing.

Windshield bars allowed, minimum 1/4” in diameter in front of drivers area, minimum 3 vertical bars 

Front and rear suspension allowed


3. Wheel Base:

Wheel base cannot be any longer than 60" 


4. Body:

Must run full sheet metal body with a modified, late model, or stock car look. Topless ok

Nerf Bars OK. Nerf bars must be between wheel wells and ends must turn into body. 1.25 max diameter tubing, flat bar ok. Must touch the body all the way down the car. 


5. Bumpers:

Bumper material must be1” diameter X 0.095” wall or 1.25” X 0.070” wall thickness maximum.

Must be no wider than car and must be turned in towards frame or capped with clean edges.

Front and Rear bumpers must extend minimum 12” from the frame.


6. Wheels:

Any 8” O.D. aluminum or steel wheel with 4 on 4 bolt pattern allowed.

Any offset allowed.

Bead‐locks are allowed.


7. Tires:

Any 8” O.D. max. 

Racing, Golf Cart, or Turf Tire allowed.

No Slicks ALLOWED

No tire prep or tire wraps  

Grooving and Siping allowed


8. Rear Axle:

Any 1.250” rear axle allowed. Max 48” length. Axle must be solidly mounted with bearing cassettes and hangers.


9. Brakes:

Hydraulic type brake on rear axle

Front brakes allowed


10. Steering:

Any kart steering allowed.

Rack and pinion steering allowed.

Steering quickeners allowed


11. Fuel:

Race fuel ok, 110 or less Octane only.

No performance Additives, Nitro products, or Methanol

Fragrances are allowed


12. Engine:

Any single or two cylinder four stroke engine can not to exceed 500cc.

Two cylinder four stroke motorcycle engine must be OEM stock including carburetor, no internal modification. 

Air filter(s), exhaust systems are non tech.


13. Safety:

Full fire suit Mandatory. Fire suit can be one or two pieces. Neck brace required. Gloves are required.  

Helmets are mandatory and must be certified SA2010, SA2015, or SA2020. Helmet must be full faced with shield.

Must have either window net or arm restraints. Topless karts must wear arm restraints.

5‐point safety harness must attach securely to the chassis. 

High back Aluminum racing seats must be securely attached to the chassis.

Protest Rule

DURING TECH INSPECTIONS, ONLY 2 CREW MEMBER IN TECH AREA (DRIVER COUNTS AS 1)
Protester must pay a $100.00 fee prior to the A-Main race to protest a kart in their class. A protest will be verbally accepted from the owner or driver only if his/her kart is in a race with the kart being protested. Cash must be accompanied with the verbal protest to the Tech official.
Protests must be made before the start of feature race. Item to be inspected must be specified i.e.: engine, kart frame, weight etc.
If the kart is found to be legal $50.00 of the bond money will be forfeited to the protested party, $25 to tech and $25 to track.  If the kart is found illegal $50 goes to the protesting party , $25 to tech and $25 to track. 


If you fail tech after the Feature race or refuse tech you will lose all awards and points for that night and allowed to race for next two events.


NOTE: The track retains the option to inspect for Tech violations at any time at the entrant’s own expense.
